"What you seek is seeking you" (Rumi)

Sheikh Saleh Al Maghamsi, the Imam and Khateeb of Masjid Al Quba- Madeena Munawara recalls an incident long ago he had in Riyadh. It was that he had to attend a large gathering After Magrib and the weekend traffic being heavy, he took his car through an inner road for short. Suddenly the car in front of him stopped and the driver was seen going to a grocery store. When the driver came back, Shaikh was angry at the person for blocking the small road where only one car could go. For this the man replied in humble words ‘_Magrib Azan is in few minutes, I am fasting_.

Shaikh Salih al Magamisi said. This made him think ‘ SubhanaAllah’ I myself rushing to attend to speak for a large gathering after Magrib, here is a common taxi driver fasting on a hot day. My prayer on that night was solely for this ‘Man’ through whom Allah taught him so much.

If your heart is of seeking, Allah will teach you in ways you never knows and that you never knew. May be you were rushing to attend the Bayan after Magrib, but you are stuck in a traffic. Perhaps Allah wants to teach you is ‘*Sabr*’ which you may not be learning in a Majlis but will learn in the traffic. How Allah teaches and through whom, you cannot say. Allah does His plans in His own ways. It may not be a Moulana or Mufthi sahib always. It may be through a common man whom you least expected to be a teacher. Allah’s plan comes through the door that you least expected it to come. If you are humble enough to learn and seek, there are lessons.

{..*Allah came upon them from where they had not expected* ….. (Surah Al Hashr: Part of Ayah 2)}
